Dr. Sam
Oraee is the medical director of Neurological Center of Northern Virginia. He
has been active in the Northern Virginia community, living, and practicing
neurology since 1993.
He speaks fluent Persian and Spanish. He completed his under graduate studies
at California State University at Northridge and has a BA and BS in
electrical engineering. He graduated from medical school at Technological
University of Santiago, and neurology from Stony Brook University hospital,
NY. He held academic position in clinical instructor in Neurology at
Northport Veteran Administration Medical Center facility of Stony Brook
University Hospital. He was acting chief of Neurology at VAMC at Martinsburg,
West Virginia.
Dr. Oraees areas of expertise and interests are neurology,
neurophysiology, pain management and stroke. He was instrumental in
development of stroke care program at Potomac Hospital, Woodbridge and INOVA
Fairfax Hospital, Fair Fax Virginia. He was mentioned and listed in Potomac
news and Money magazine for his work in Stroke at Potomac and INOVA Fairfax
hospital.
Dr. Oraees philosophy revolves around disease prevention, pain free,
independent, active and healthy life.
